Attention all members

It is with great enthusiasm that we are in a position to share with you news regarding the future of George Cross FC.

As you are aware the club has sold Chaplin Res. Although the sale is to occur within the next 12-24 months, we have for some time being planning to secure our clubs future.

Therefore we are pleased to share with our members the following:

 In March 2015 an advisory committee was formed. The purpose of this committee is to plan, analyse, design and execute the future direction of the club.

The advisory committee is made up of a selection of building & club committee members, a legal representative, financial advisor, business entrepreneurs & design consultants.

Although it's still early in the process, we are pleased to advise our members that we are currently working with a municipality with the intent of developing a state of the art facility that George Cross juniors and senior’s players, staff and parents will call home.

 So as to not jeopardize current planning and negotiations, we are at this stage limited in disclosing certain details.

However it's important to us that our members are kept informed of where we are headed and therefore we are committed to communicating our progress on a regular basis to our members.

Our club has a rich history and an exciting and prosperous future ahead.

We look forward to having you along throughout this journey.
