A special congratulations goes out to 18 year old David Calleja who made his first senior appearance on Sunday in the 1-0 win over Bulleen Royals.
David arrived at the club in 2006 and in his first season as a senior team member, he has worked extremely hard over the pre-season period to earn a starting 11 spot. "Big Dave" as he is known by the players didn't seem at all overwrought by this experience and played a key part in the defensive line of the team. There is no doubt that with a bit more experience, David will be one of the toughest defenders in the league.
